Lessons Learned from SoCon08
Stephanie Roberts of Elemental Interaction and ListenShare just posted a list of 11 top takeaway ideas from the SoCon08 conference. You can see her full post at her blog Cool People I Know.
It's a great list, maybe I can persuade her to share it here. It would be fantastic if we all started a long list of lessons learned from SoCon08 and maybe keep a continuing list of great ideas that we come across during the next year, right up to SoCon09. (I am trying to confirm a SoCon09 date as I write this.)
Here is one new idea I found actually after the conference. It was Cover It Live a live blogging tool that Robert Rhyne Armstrong used at SoCon08. He also used it to live blog the birth of his baby. It is great tool. There is more information at my PJNet.org blog.
Probably the best way to handle this is just to add your take away and new ideas right here as a comment. I will try to find a better way to aggregate them later as the list grows.

Jeff Haynie, Sherry Heyl and Leonard Witt launched SoCon07, in February, 2007; then came back with SoCon08 in February, 2008 with the able help of Barbara Vining and Timothy Moenk. Some 275 people registered for Socon08, so, of course, SoCon09 is already being planned.
