- Sherry Heyl is the CEO of What a Concept, a full service social media agency helping clients navigate the world of social networks and expand collaborative efforts within their organizations.
She was a key organizer of SoCon07, the first Social Media un-conference in Metro Atlanta and on the planning committee SoCon08. Sherry is the Chair of the Technology Association of GA Enterprise 2.0 Society, the Programs Director for the Atlanta Electronic Commerce Forum, and on the National Advisory Board for KSU Communication Department. Sherry was a 2007 Nominee for the Women in Technology Woman of the Year Award. Sherry is a graduate of Florida State University with undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Creative Writing.

SoCon History
Jeff Haynie, Sherry Heyl and Leonard Witt launched SoCon07, in February, 2007; then came back with SoCon08 in February, 2008 with the able help of Barbara Vining and Timothy Moenk. Some 275 people registered for Socon08, so, of course, SoCon09 is already being planned.
