I just made $727 this week working from home for google. I cant believe how easy this is. Im recommending this to everyone, check out this guys google blog makemoneywith-google.com
I believe it was you that used the term snap back. The bells and whistles look good... we do it...and then we get back to the old ways, that really did work okay for us. Apparently the stationary business is on an uptrend as people are refinding value and appreciation in the personal handwritten communication. So, I better take a moment to get that thank you note and birthday card in the mail this weekend. Enjoy!

Hi Justine:
I can't talk about that particular story -- I read that he voted against the bill, but never tracked down why. Perhaps because it was never played up in the news. My bigger concern is that as journalism keeps shrinking, who will cover this type of story and others like it. I am a fan of citizen media, but it is too hard to do everyday journalism without compensation.
Here's something that's really been bugging me. Last week, I read an article about a bill to ban waterboarding that passed the House and the Senate. Buried near the bottom of the AP wire story was a minor acknowledgement that John McCain - who supports the war but is known as the POW who stands against torture - actually voted AGAINST the ban on waterboarding! Now, I don't care what side of the issue you're on: this is NEWS, and yet as far as I could tell, no major news networks touched it! Only the blogosphere tackled it, which is great, but unfortunately much of the public may have missed this one. I would love to hear what our citizen media advocates have to say about this. Thanks!
Hi everyone! Right after SoCon, I had to buckle down on a paper for another class, and then I got sick for a few days, but I am finally resurfacing! I will be working on my paper this weekend and would love to talk with folks about citizen media!

Hi Shelby:
Got to look at the Street Team video. I liked your delivery, questions, angles, but it all was a little digitally uneven even for my plebian tastes. Was it shot with the Nokia N95? If so, I am no longer a fan of it. Maybe it would be okay for short bursts, but in a longer piece it got a bit annoying.

Hi! I had a great time at SoCon. Just as last year I met really amazing, inspirational people and went away with a fire in my belly to create something. I'm so glad to see social media and online community get all the attention for once. Looking forward to keeping up connections this year!
I did, thanks. The gigantic, rambling article is up here. Unfortunately the Think MTV website is designed to withstand any useful social networking whatsoever and you'd probably never notice that you were hyperlinked there nor show up on any Technorati search until someone actually visited your site.
It's a great list, maybe I can persuade her to share it here. It would be fantastic if we all started a long list of lessons learned from SoCon08 and maybe keep a continui… Continue
Welcome everyone who has been through SoCon07, 08 and maybe 09. After 290 participants sign up for 1.5 days of face-to-face meeting, it would be a shame to see them just go away. So we can come back together right here over and over again.
Since the SoCon folks live mostly in Metro Atlanta, in Georgia and in surrounding states, we don't have to wait a whole year to meet face to face. I hope this will keep the action going and let like-minded people dev… Continue

Jeff Haynie, Sherry Heyl and Leonard Witt launched SoCon07, in February, 2007; then came back with SoCon08 in February, 2008 with the able help of Barbara Vining and Timothy Moenk. Some 275 people registered for Socon08, so, of course, SoCon09 is already being planned.
